Shipping

The Netherlands. Orders are sent out on Tuesdays. The processing time is 2 to 5 working days. I run a one-women studio so I need some time to get your order ready. You will receive confirmation once your order is shipped. Europe and International. International shipments take about 5 – 10 working days. But please allow up to 14 working days as services can vary depending on your location. During busy periods such a Christmas and holidays this timescale can sometimes double. I can not be held responsible for these delays. All items are send with a ‘Track and Trace’ code which will be send to you in an e-mail. I cannot be responsible for import or custom fees. Pick up. Pick up at the atelier is possible. You can choose this option during checkout. Please send me an e-mail that you would like to pick up your order with a date and time that works for you. You can send this e-mail to info@rootfolk.com.

Packaging. I care about the environment, so I take packaging very seriously. I use (recycled) cardboard boxes and either recycled plastic bubble wrap, eco packaging peanuts, newspapers or recycled brown paper to protect your items.

Refunds. Each item is described carefully, so please read the descriptions for dimensions, sizes, colours and usage and care instructions etc. My ceramics are made by hand so the dimensions and colours can vary. I have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact me at info@rootfolk.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Linnaeusparkweg 144, 1098 EM, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact me for any return question at info@rootfolk.com. Note that we do not refund nor pay shipping costs for your return.

I will notify you once I have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since I have approved your return, please contact me at info@rootfolk.com. If the piece is broken (during shipping) I can’t refund the money to you. 

The following items can't be returned. I cannot accept returns or exchanges for these items unless the above conditions apply:
-Custom, personalized, or preordered items
-Items on sale/clearance
-Gift cards

Damages and issues. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right. Exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
