The ceramic tablescapes of Rootfolk are an inviting place where food, family and friends come together. It is inspired by the movements and textures of roots. Artist Margot Kat embraces the harmony between aesthetics from nature, material characteristics and natural colors of the earth. Her signature hand-shaping technique gives the clay freedom to ‘grow’ naturally and connects closely to the food served on the tableware.
